Weird Gator Science!

Gator hooks are exponentially stronger than normal magnets or glue strips due to a proprietary and heavily patented technology called a Polymagnet. Normal magnets have large looping magnetic fields that blow right past the thin steel found in most homes like on tool boxes, fire doors, second fridges/freezers, and on and on. Polymagnets are made by printing patterns of tiny north and south pole dots called "maxes" (a mash-up of the words "magnet" and "pixels") on just on side of the magnet. The much shorter magnetic flux created between these maxels is a highly efficient magnetic field and has extraordinary strength when the magnet comes into contact with the many common thin steel surfaces found in the home, garage or office.
